I'm a 30something father of 4 girls. That keeps me pretty busy, but I try to fit in some times for gaming, and have taught all the kids to game as well. Besides FaceBook I play a lot of other games including World of Warcraft, PS3 games, Wii, and other PC games. I generally lean towards RPGs. I also have a background in computer hardware. Besides the computer I enjoy a lot of movies, nature, martial arts, and writing (this isn't my only blog).
I currently reside in Wyoming, and have lived in Utah and Nevada. I have been asked to post a real picture of me, and when I get around to taking one, I suppose I will.
I started out trying to figure out how to post ingredients and coins because I saw a couple other people doing it, and it wasn't easy...I like a good challenge sometimes. Took me a couple of weeks, but in the end I figured it out.
I'm sure some of you noticed the donate button on the front page. There's more then one reason for it. Playfish charges $10usd for 55,000 coins. I'm giving that away nearly every day. With just a quick look, I've now given out over 1.5million coins! Some people have asked if they could help support the blog, so yes. Besides any donations the blog and my time is supported by the advertising on the site(that I've tried to keep low). Ads really only make money through clicking, and most people hate to click an ad(I know I do), so it averages maybe $.20( that's 20 cents) a day. I was also laid off a year ago, and it'd help. On top of all that, I'm looking into starting a podcast based on Restaurant City (and branch into some other FB games), so it would help acquire a domain name, server space, bandwidth, and possibly hardware. If you do donate, and would like to be named as a "blog supporter" please let me know, I'd be happy to post your name (or pseudonym). Don't feel like you need to send a "major" amount, even a dollar now and then would be just fine.
