48 Hours - Restaurant City

Something a lot of people don't seem to realize is that 48 is a special number in Restaurant City.

The GK posts last for 48 hours...so if you can't get them all today (you can accept 20gk gifts per day), you CAN still get them tomorrow.  So if you picked up a few things that your friends posted, or if there are just to many tempting things to get them all in one day, its ok.  You can still pick them up tomorrow.

Same goes for crates that your friends post on your wall.  Those last for 48 hours as well.  So if you hit your crate limit for the day (you can accept 10 crates per day), and there's still a nice piece of cheese, or a loaf of bread that you wanted, you'll be able to get that tomorrow.

You can get them up to 47 hours and 59 minutes, but once it hits 48 then the time is up and they're expired. There's no going back.  But up until then if there was something you wanted yesterday, go back and get it!  If you got lots of great stuff yesterday, and only a few things today, make sure you get yesterdays first...because today's stuff is still good tomorrow!

Using your garden. - Restaurant City

I've seen many peoples restaurants where they either just aren't growing anything in their garden, or else they haven't harvested in a long time...as if the garden is a decoration.  This is a great tool everyone should be using.  A lot of useful ingredients are able to be grown including sugar!  Sure 2k per seed might seem like a lot, but how much sugar would you buy if they put it in the market for 2k each?  O.o

There are also a few trophies for harvesting your garden.  So show me those green thumbs, get out there and get planting!  :)

Restraunt City Secret!

Still need a few dozen cheese and now they throw this duck at you as well?  Worry no longer, you can get all you need!  I've been testing this for a couple of days, and checked again after the update to make sure its still working, but here's a little secret for you! 

Locked crates are in every single restaurant!

No I'm not on drugs.  They really are!  Here's what you do...  Load up your restaurant and hit the street.  Scroll through all your neighbors, and only visit the ones with locked crates.  Once you've gotten them all, head back to your place, save the game, and exit.  Now reload Restaurant City, and head back out to the streets....look at that more locked crates!  Get them all, wash, rinse repeat.  You can keep saving and reloading until you've pulled a locked crate out of every single neighbor.  It appears since the patch the locked ones only contain cheese and ducks, so once you've gotten your fill you can go back to the normal method so you have a chance to find crates with eggs, and vanilla and other odds and ends.

Restaurant City - Leveling Tip!

Having a hard time leveling up?  Here's a tip for you...  Did you realize that every time you level up a dish, you gain GP?  A pretty decent amount too.  From 250gp for learning a dish, all the way up to 8,000gp.  Here's the breakdown.

1 (learn) = 250
2 = 500
3 = 1,000
4 = 2,000
5 = 3,000
6 = 4,000
7 = 5,000
8 =6,000
9 = 7,000
10 (max) = 8,000

That's 36,750gp for going from 0 to max level on a dish!  Not a bad haul.
